The Sport S, Willys, Rubicon and Mojave all come standard with a 3.6L Pentastar VVT V6 with 6-speed manual transmission with the available option to change to a 3.6L Pentastar VVT V6 with 8-speed automatic transmission and also a 3.0L EcoDiesel V6 with 8-speed torqueflite automatic transmission for the Sport S, Willys,and Rubicon trims. Whereas the Overland and High Altitude trims come standard with a 3.6L Pentastar VVT with 8 speed automatic transmission or a 3.0L Eco Diesel V6 with 8-speed torqueflite automatic transmission for the Overland trim and a 3.6L pentastar VVT V6 with 8-speed automatic transmission for the High Altitude trim!
All the trims come standard with the Command-Trac part-time shift-on-the-fly 4x4 system except for the Rubicon trim which comes standard with the Rock-Trac heavy-duty part-time 4x4 system with 4:1 low range
