Hail Damage? Oh Hail No!

In response to the high volume of recent hail damage, some of the processes to submit an MPI hail claim have changed.

Follow this 3-step process to get your hail damage problems smoothed over.

Hail Damage Steps.

Step 1: Submit your claim online with MPI

You will be asked for the following information:

  1. The type of damage
  2. The date, time, and location where the damage took place
  3. The vehicle's plate / policy / permit number
  4. Registered owners information
  5. Driver information

You will be assigned an appointment time to have an estimate prepared.

Step 2: Attend your MPI hail estimate appointment

  • Attend your MPI hail estimate appointment at the MPI Physical Damages Centre - 1981 Plessis Road, Winnipeg.
  • Your vehicle will go through a quick scan process to identify hail damage and determine dent counts and the extent of the damage.
  • At the end of your appointment, you will be provided with an Appointment Summary

Step 3: Contact your nearest Gauthier Collision Repair Centre

Now that you have your Appointment Summary, you can contact your nearest Collision Repair Centre. We’ll make arrangements to get the repair work underway.
