The two-tone instrument panel features a darker colour more prominent to prevent light from reflecting into the windshield for optimum visibility. The full-width top pad has a soft and luxurious feel.
Other unique design elements include a spine moulded into the instrument panel top pad that carries over the central character line in the hood to the signature Chrysler clock. The deeply-recessed instrument panel uses electroluminescent lighting for the silver gauge faces.

| Stunning Style |

Top up or top down, Sebring Convertible’s striking silhouette catches the eye and rouses instant admiration. The long hood and extended roofline are perfectly accented by sculpted character lines for an even more athletic stance.
Sebring Convertible has a 74 mm (2.9 in.) longer wheelbase than the previous model. The added length provides more useable cargo space with the soft or hardtop retracted. Two golf bags can be stowed in the trunk when the hardtop is down.
Sebring Convertible is also 51 mm (2 in.) wider and 90 mm (3.5 in.) taller than the previous generation convertible to allow more generous passenger room.

| Power Sunroof |
 |
Sebring is the first Chrysler convertible with either a retractable soft-top, which is available in vinyl or cloth, or a retractable metal hardtop
The soft top gives Sebring Convertible a smooth, neat appearance when up, while the hardtop provides a sleek, integrated appearance that enhances the perception of all-season utility. The retractable soft top roof is standard; a steel retractable hardtop is optional. A sensor in the trunk detects if the Folding Luggage Protector is in place to ensure that the trunk contents are protected before the top stows.
Both the hard and soft tops can be conveniently operated from either the instrument panel or with the key fob. The key fob can be used to lock and unlock doors, activate the illuminated entry system or even lower the top and windows. A remote starter is available.
A standard power hard tonneau neatly conceals each of the tops when retracted..

| Performance |
| Powertrain & Transmission |

The Sebring Convertible Touring model’s 2.7L DOHC V6 engine with 189 hp offers an excellent combination of performance, economy and quietness.
A new 3.5L SOHC High Output V6 with 235 hp and 232 lb-ft of torque is standard on Sebring Limited. This smooth engine combines effortless power and quietness.
The Flex Fuel (FFV) 2.7L DOHC 24-valve V6 engine produces 189 hp and 191 lb-ft of torque and can operate efficiently on any blend of gasoline and fuel-grade ethanol up to E-85. A new intake manifold improves low-speed torque at part- or full-throttle operation.
The refined 3.5L High Output SOHC 24-valve V6 engine features a three-plenum intake manifold with electronically controlled manifold tuning valve and short-runner valves for optimum efficiency.
Two automatic transmissions are available: a new four-speed 41TES, is matched to the 2.7L V6 engine. A new six-speed automatic with Auto/Stick™ is paired with the 3.5L HO V6 only.

| Suspension and Handling |
 |
The MacPherson strut front suspension and multilink rear suspension are efficient designs for packaging a four-wheel independent suspension while increasing wheel travel for improved ride quality.
The front suspension cradle is solid mounted and the rear suspension crossmember is isolated to the body for improved ride plushness and reduced Noise, Vibration and Harshness (NVH).
18-inch aluminum wheels are standard on Limited, optional on Touring model. |
| Safety |
| Air Bags |
 |
Advanced multistage front air bags provide nearly instantaneous occupant protection by matching air bag output to crash severity. Side-curtain air bags deploy from the headliner to provide two rows of side impact protection to outboard occupants.
A new active venting front passenger air bag is designed to reduce the risk of air bag-induced injuries.
Front seat side-mounted side air bags for convertibles provide enhanced protection during a side impact.
The compact side air bag module includes a clamshell case that opens during deployment.
|
| Safety Cage |
 |
All seating positions use three-point belts for optimum occupant protection in many types of crashes. Convertible front seat belts are all-belts-to-seat due to the unique mounting and packaging requirements for occupant comfort and ingress/egress to the rear seat. Rear seat belt retractors are mounted inboard, attached to the structure behind the seat for occupant comfort and convenience.
All seat belt systems except the driver’s include Automatic Locking Retractors (ALRs). ALRs lock the seat belt webbing into position by extending the belt all the way out and then adjusting the belt to the desired length to restrain a child seat or secure a large item in a seat.
Convertible rear seats include two pairs of lower child seat anchors used in the LATCH (Lower Anchors and Tethers for CHildren) system. This allows installation of up to two seats in the outboard rear seats.

Sebring offers many features that help keep you and your vehicle secure, including:
- Standard Sentry Key™ Engine Immobilizer System that deters vehicle theft by requiring a properly encoded key to start the engine
- Standard Remote Keyless Entry locks and unlocks doors and turns on interior lamps. It also arms and disarms the Vehicle Theft Security Alarm (if equipped)
- Vehicle Theft Security Alarm, standard on Sebring Limited, protects the vehicle from theft by monitoring both the door and rear decklid-ajar switches and the ignition circuit for unauthorized entry

Keeping an eye on inflation. A Tire Pressure Monitoring System is standard on all Sebring models. An enhanced display feature with specific callouts for each wheel is available with the Electronic Vehicle Information Centre (EVIC).

Available Electronic Stability Program (ESP™)* and Traction Control help you maintain directional stability by applying selective braking and throttle control. ESP helps control oversteer and understeer and maintain traction during acceleration on slippery surfaces.
|
| Security |
 |
Brake Assist (included with ESP™) helps ensure optimal brake efficiency during panic braking situations.
Brake Assist works in conjunction with the ESP system to instantly apply the maximum available pressure to the brakes. A pressure sensor in the ESP hydraulic module determines when the driver is making an emergency stop by measuring the brake pedal pressure application rate. A high rate of pedal pressure application causes the ESP system to apply maximum hydraulic pressure to the brakes, stopping the vehicle as quickly as the available traction will allow.

The available windscreen significantly reduces noise and turbulence for the front seat passengers making top down driving more comfortable. When not in use, it stows easily in the trunk.
